As of 15 March 2017, it will no longer be possible to send e-mail from sender addresses for domains without our e-mail service. This restriction is late, but necessary to prevent fraud. Domains without e-mail our e-mail service must use their service provider's e-mail service.
Attempts to send e-mail with the wrong sender address will be rejected by our outgoing SMTP server, and this will result in an error message in the e-mail software trying to send the e-mail.
As an example, it will no longer be possible to use
@online.no as a sender address via
Sender addresses must be assigned to the e-mail account used for sending.
