Upon expiration of a domain, how long do I need to wait to re-register it?
It is possible to re-register an expired domain, that has not been renewed or has been deleted by the current owner. However, depending on the domain, the time between inactivation of the domain until it becomes available, may vary. For .no domains, there is a 0-3 months quarantine before they become available for re-registration. For .com/.org/.net/.biz/.info/.name domains, you normally have to wait 8-12 weeks after expiration to re-register it. If you want us to notice you swiftly upon the availability of a domain, you may register with our domain name watch service.
